dried lavender sachet
dried lavender sachet
We make these small sachets in-house to make use of the dried lavender from Evelina's garden and to put to good use leftover and waste fabrics. The scraps of cotton come from Grethe Sivertsen's newest Kinkeliane design project, K for Kinkeliane, where through shapes and textures she creates playful and modern clothing for adults and children.
The result is a small sachet that bursts of color, is pleasant to the touch, delights the senses, and is good for the environment. This is how you may put them to good use:
- Place the lavender sachets in your closet or drawer to keep your clothes smelling nice and free of insects
- The sachets are also a natural alternative to commercial air fresheners for car interiors
- Lavender relaxes and can be placed inside or under the pillow to help with sleep quality
- For those sachets made of a thicker cotton, you may consider placing one in the dryer with your laundry
