Archivist was founded in 1998 by Sarah and William Allardice. As the name might suggest, they began in the archives of the Natural History Museum. Although the archives have changed, their enthusiasm for hunting for images has not gone. They've collaborated with artists all over the world to create, including the design of their luxury matches. The brand aims to create timeless pieces that imbue a sense of fun, as well as to be useful.
Archivist's extra long luxury matches make lighting fires and storm lanterns a breeze! They are made in the UK from FSC wood and are hand packaged in printed boxes, whilst the designs on their upper side offer universal appeal and may even double as greeting cards. Matchstick color may vary from image. Each box contains 45 matches, each measuring 28cm long.
Please practice fire safety.
