Laura is the artist behind Ceramiceanu. Her design studio is based in Timisoara, a city of historical importance in the west of Romania. In Romanian, "ceramiceanu" is a play on words for someone who creates ceramic pieces. Laura's work was born of her passion for beauty, the coupled human-natural systems, and as an expression of her own individuality.

The tree ornaments are shaped and painted by hand. Each object is uniquely made, which means textures, shapes, and color shades may vary.
