What do poetry and flowers have in common? The gift of presence. Flowers need care to flourish, and poetry needs the attentive mind to unfold its full meaning. Flowers bloom and wither, a reminder that we live to cherish the moment; a poem captures fleeting feelings or moments that might otherwise be lost, such as the falling petal of a ranunculus, or the bee delighting in the sweet nectar of a cosmos flower.
All of it ephemeral, all of it magical.
The gathering will be taking place here, at Pedersgata 44 (our shop), starting from 17:30 on Tuesday 02.09. A light snack will be offered. You are all welcome to bring along your notes, your creations, your drawing material, your journaling notebook, anything that is poetry to you. You are welcome to read out loud and welcome to hold your space in silence. No judgment, only love and appreciation for your presence.
We will braid with flowers and offer our words to the summer that is coming to a closing.
For now.
