We source our coffee beans from small independently owned women-forward roasters around the world. Our priority is to continue the chain of empowering women in this largely-male-dominated industry and to showcase coffee beans that come from all-female supply chains, farmer to roaster. It is important to us that the beans come from ethical sources where farmers are fairly compensated and included in the process as equals.
Both Little Waves in Durham, North Carolina, and Girls Who Grind Coffee in UK have shown us time and time again what it means to be respectful, reliable, and heart-driven.
This interview with Areli, owner of Little Waves, we think will bring you closer to their values and the way they treat their products and their people.
