Linda Bredenbekk is a self-taught ceramic artist who lives in Jæren, Norway. She shared with us that she finds magic in enjoying a cup of coffee sipped from a unique handmade cup. Linda values the individuality of each of these handmade products, who they speaks to and where they go. Linda loves animals, music, art and food and she appreciates minimalism -- a theme also present in the clean lines of her work. She prefers deep conversations over small talk and she notices the ambiance more than the physical things. It is her intuition that has guided her onto this path of working with clay, and the itch in her fingers to be touching, reshaping it. Isn't that beautiful?
This trinket dish measures 9 cm in diameter is made of black clay and its shape reminds us of Japan somehow. It is the big sister of the mini trinket dish. It may be used as a trinket dish as the name implies, but it may also be used as a salt cellar or even a candle holder for self-standing candles such as our grasuta. It is large enough to hold olives, dried flowers for sprinkling over slices of cake or for crafting, a mix of nuts and dried fruits. Just let your imagination decide.
Since each piece is individually handmade, measurements may vary. Each piece is unique and can differ in size and shape, and the colors of the glaze can vary from piece to piece.
