The founder of L'Envers, Julie, is a French mompreneur in her 40's. After living in Paris, London and Madrid she moved together with her husband and 3 kids to a Spanish mountain village to disconnect from the big city life and get closer to nature, and to lead a slower, more intentional lifestyle. Julie created L'Envers in 2015 and ever since, their goal has been to design fewer pieces made in a better, slower way. They believe quality is an investment in the future and that clothing ought to be made in a mindful, careful way and for slow consumption. Each piece is knitted and sewn in small family workshops in Spain, close to where they live. The garments are made of pure raw materials that are selected carefully from French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian spinning mills.

The Berthe are the chunky wool socks we all love, reminiscent of those knitted by our grandmothers: warm, soft, comforting, and thick! It's the accessory you won't want to take off on cold or chilly days when you simply need that something extra. Wear them with Birkenstocks, boots, or even as cozy slippers on their own! They are crafted from 100% Spanish merino wool in a thick and dense knit. You may expect your wool garment to last you a very long time, but the way you care for your clothes can add to their longevity and to their je-ne-sais-quoi that makes them even more charming with time. L'Envers offer a plethora of advice on how to care for your garments. This is a unisex, one-size piece that will fit foot (European) sizes 36 to 42.
