Copito is a project by Clara Infante, a natural dyer and multidisciplinary maker and artist based near Barcelona, Spain. Her explorations with plant and earth pigments are often manifested through her sculptural wax creations.

Self-standing, sculptural twisted candles, inspired by the voluminous curvatures of Fernando Botero’s work. Dipped by hand in our studio, these candles require three days to complete from start to finish as they are dipped over 300 times to achieve their width. We twist them much like traditional twisted candles but with a bit more effort.

XXL measures approximately 29 cm tall x 9 cm wide

Please practice fire safety, and never leave a burning candle unattended. For best results, burn over a plate or ceramic candle dish to avoid spilling hot wax on your furniture.
