Stinne and Nis Tyrrestrup have established their TYBO boutique and workshop in the colorful Copenhagen district of Vesterbro. Among pottery in clean Nordic design and natural colors inspired by the ocean, earth, and forest, the husband and wife duo share their creative office space there, have coffee together almost every morning, and lay out their business plans. Their dream is to create a platform where things can happen flexibly within a sustainable economy, where they can join new partnerships because it makes sense or simply because it seems fun. Their clay work is centred around making lasting quality products.

All TYBO stoneware glazes are carefully designed and mixed by hand, creating a coherent identity for each design and adding a sensuous, almost raw feeling to the surface. All stoneware products are burned at a high temperature, which makes the items strong and perfect for everyday use. All items are oven, dishwasher and microwave safe.

Since each piece is individually handmade, measurements are for guidance only. Each one is unique and can differ in size and shape, and the colors of the glaze can vary from piece to piece. This candle light holder is minimalistic, a TYBO signature dish, and suitable for both our self-standing Grasute and Mama Grasutelor candles. It can of course be used for other purposes such as for salt, spices, olives, tea, burning incense, or as a trinket dish. A versatile piece this is!
