Single origin cardamom, pure rose, and black tea directly sourced from the Chota Tingrai Tea Estate for a Cardamom Rose Tea Latte.
This concentrate is made fresh in-house by Dona. They grind spices fresh in their mill room, steep them for over an hour in small batches in their 500 gallon kettles. While steeping, the spices are in constant circulation to optimize extraction.Then they filter and bottle.
brew: by mixing equal parts concentrate and your favorite (plant-based) milk. Heat, steam or pour over ice and consider sprinkling with the cardamom rose dust.
Origin matters, so here is an outline for each ingredient.
cardamom: is grown by a single farmer, Don Jesus in Trinidad, Santa Bárbara, Honduras. We purchase the majority of his cardamom crop, ensuring a fresh supply and paying a fair price
black tea: is sourced from the Chota Tingrai Tea Estate in Assam, India. This women-run tea estate prioritizes sustainable growing methods and the welfare of the local tea growing communities.
rose petals: are grown on a small farm in the state of Gujarat along India’s western coast. This family owned farm is dedicated entirely to growing roses. As the first rose farmers in the Rajkot region, they’ve received national recognition for their work.
