Alexandra and Florin, the couple behind POEMI, are passionate self-taught ceramic artists who began their clay journey in 2016 in Sibiu, Romania. With no prior experience, they dedicated themselves to mastering the art of pottery. They started with a small kiln that they keep to this day as a reminder of their humble beginnings, and since have designed custom tableware for restaurants around the world while promoting sustainable and durable ceramics for daily use. Inspired by childhood memories and the beauty of everyday life, their POEMI collections tell unique stories of connection around shared meals: "The plaster on the walls of the house, the passing of seasons which puts its mark on all and everything, the table with the three-legged chairs we used to eat at, the wooden tray where the bread was kneaded."

This cup is made of black stoneware with chamotte, hence the name we chose to give it on here to differentiate it. It has a capacity of 200 ml. It is textured and it is raw! If you are feeling fancy, add the small chamotte plate to the combo, as a saucer. Pair as an yin and yang with its sister in beige stoneware. The cup is glazed with an ecological glaze, beige with brown effects, and is dishwasher safe. Just imagine swirling in it your favorite brew, whether tea or coffee or a liquid of your own concoction. This being a handmade product, dimensions and colors may slightly differ from one item to another.
