Five Bees Yard crafts candles using 100% pure, raw beeswax extracted directly from their own hives. Since 2016, the company has been a pioneer in promoting an eco-conscious, plastic-free, and fully sustainable business model. Run by third-generation beekeepers, Five Bees Yard cares for over one million bees and produces chemical-, additive-, and dye-free beeswax candles in-house.

For awhile we debated bringing candles that were classics and that can also be found in other shops we ourselves already love. Finally, the decision of sourcing the Five Bees Yard candles was based on the fact that we wish to normalize using what is healthiest for our bodies and minds: pure beeswax candles! And there should be no more debate and no more paraffin-based alternatives! No more outdoor or indoor pollution!

Some of the candles we selected from Five Bees Yard are practical for your usual burner, some a bit twisted ;), and some simply beautifully hand-dipped classics. We love seeing that tiny drop from the final candle dip solidify at the bottom of the candle stick. There is something very personal in that touch. These are two hand-dipped taper candles bundled together. Each measures approximately 20 cm in length by 2 cm thick. Burn time is 8-9 hours per candle.

Pure beeswax is not a single shade of yellow. Depending on where the pollen was collected and by which beehive, it will differ. That is why these come in a variety of shades, all pure.
