Laura is the artist behind Ceramiceanu. Her design studio is based in Timisoara, a city of historical importance in the west of Romania. In Romanian, "ceramiceanu" is a play on words for someone who creates ceramic pieces. Laura's work was born of her passion for beauty, the coupled human-natural systems, and as an expression of her own individuality.

These bells are shaped and painted by hand and it is their uneven shape that adds to their charm. Each piece has a different, unique underside, as well as a unique top. Due to the the handmade nature of these bells, textures, shapes, and color shades will vary.
