This tea is a herbal bouquet of piney sage, floral rose, vibrant blue cornflower and lemongrass. And it is a beautiful one, too. let us take them one by one.
sage | Oregon: regeneratively grown in southern Oregon and harvested early fall. This farm is dedicated to soil nourishment, seed saving, minimal intervention pest controls, and harvesting at peak seasonality.
lemongrass | Nepal: from a collective of organic tea gardens in the foothills of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Nepal. This collective empowers farmers by making them not just employees, but owners through a co-operative model.
rose petals | India: grown on a small farm in the state of Gujarat along India’s western coast. This family owned farm is dedicated entirely to growing roses. As the first rose farmers in the Rajkot region, they’ve received national recognition for their work.
Brew it hot or cold!!! This is a herbal tea that reminds of pine, pollen and a spring garden.
hot brew: 1g or one tablespoon of loose tea leaves to 230 ml water at a temperature of 97-100 degrees C for 4-5 minutes. You may use a metal tea infuser, a strainer, or a french press.
cold brew: 12g of loose tea leaves to one liter of tap water (or perhaps a bit less) and leave overnight in the fridge for 8 - 12 hours. You may experiment with times to see what works best for you in terms of flavor intensity.
shelf-life: 24 - 36 months
