The founder of L'Envers, Julie, is a French mompreneur in her 40's. After living in Paris, London and Madrid she moved together with her husband and 3 kids to a Spanish mountain village to disconnect from the big city life and get closer to nature, and to lead a slower, more intentional lifestyle. Julie created L'Envers in 2015 and ever since, their goal has been to design fewer pieces made in a better, slower way. They believe quality is an investment in the future and that clothing ought to be made in a mindful, careful way and for slow consumption. Each piece is knitted and sewn in small family workshops in Spain, close to where they live. The garments are made of pure raw materials that are selected carefully from French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian spinning mills.

Lilou is a curly alpaca cover for those pharmacy bottles carrying hot water that we sometimes need to warm us through a session of belly discomfort or body chills. Or for the packs of salts to warm. Applying warmth to various parts of the body is an ancestral remedy. I definitely remember my parents adding a hot bottle or a pack of hot salts to the routine when I was a child and we continue to practice it at home when we feel the need for it. The curly alpaca texture makes this piece cozy, soft and cuddly. It is a standard size which fits neatly over every hot water bottle that the L'Envers team could find - measures approximately 21 x 32 cm. It also makes the most wonderful gift.

Knitted in Spain with 2 threads of 61% alpaca, 35% wool, and 4% polyamide for solidity. The drawstring is 100% organic cotton.

care: air regularly to refresh — alpaca naturally neutralizes odors. Treat stains locally, without rubbing.

store: fold rather than hang, and use natural moth repellents.

wash: for best results, dry clean. If washing at home, hand wash in cold water with a gentle wool detergent, avoiding heat, rubbing, or twisting.

dry: gently remove excess water, reshape, and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight - never tumble dry.
