Loré is a visual artist living with her husband and three daughters in the northern woods of Vermont, USA, tucked between a mountain and a river in what they fondly call Cold Hollow. For her illustrations, she draws inspiration from the magic of childhood, the natural world, and the wonder of everyday parenting: "It always amazes me how a bit of yarn, a stick, and an open place to move is all you need to activate the magic of imagination." Currently, she is working on her own book of children’s illustrations.

Meadow Pipits is a 25x20cm reproduction of the original gouache painting, printed with archival inks on cold-pressed watercolor paper to create a museum-quality print, resistant to fading and yellowing. Plenty of red poppies grow in fields of wheat back home in Romania. This reminds me of my childhood, the countryside barefoot walks, and the pink sunsets some evenings. We've been delighting in plenty of pink sunsets here in Stavanger over the past months. Cherish them.
