Loré is a visual artist living with her husband and three daughters in the northern woods of Vermont, USA, tucked between a mountain and a river in what they fondly call Cold Hollow. For her illustrations, she draws inspiration from the magic of childhood, the natural world, and the wonder of everyday parenting: "It always amazes me how a bit of yarn, a stick, and an open place to move is all you need to activate the magic of imagination." Currently, she is working on her own book of children’s illustrations.

The Nettle Tea print is a 25x20cm reproduction of the original gouache painting, printed with archival inks on cold-pressed watercolor paper to create a museum-quality print, resistant to fading and yellowing. Nettle requires gloves to pick or else it will sting you, but once picked, the young leaves can be used in stews, soups or dried for tea. Despite it being an irritant while fresh, it is used in herbal medicine and has been scientifically linked to reducing inflammation, blood sugar levels and blood pressure.
