Rebecca is the textile artist, natural dyer, and devoted student of color and texture behind Marram. Marram is a natural dye studio specializing in unique accessories and homewares, based by the Atlantic Ocean in Seignosse SW France. For Rebecca, the process is as meaningful as the outcome: slow, meditative, and wonderfully unpredictable. At the heart of Marram is a deep curiosity about what happens when fabric meets nature. Roots, flora, bark, and pigment pulled straight from the earth. No two dye baths or flower prints ever yield the same result. Which means no two Marram pieces are ever the same. Every item arrives with its own birthmarks, its own unique character. Just like its wearer.
Made from 100% soft satin silk which is gentle and kind to you hair and reduces breakages (it will thank you later) these scrunchies are the ideal addition to your hair routine. The silk is plant-dyed with a combination of flowers, food waste, plants and dye extracts, then sewn by the Marram team in their home studio in Hossegor SW France. Mix and match from the warm earth tones to vivid summer hues and stack them in your hair or even your wrist. Each scrunchie measures approximately 2 cm in width and 7 cm in diameter (not stretched).
care: hand-wash with a ph neutral organic soap and dry flat away from direct sunlight
There may be variation in color tone or intensity from one dye bath and/or flower printing to another, as long as the dyeing is done by hand and with plants, no two dye baths can be the same.
