The founder of L'Envers, Julie, is a French mompreneur in her 40's. After living in Paris, London and Madrid she moved together with her husband and 3 kids to a Spanish mountain village to disconnect from the big city life and get closer to nature, and to lead a slower, more intentional lifestyle. Julie created L'Envers in 2015 and ever since, their goal has been to design fewer pieces made in a better, slower way. They believe quality is an investment in the future and that clothing ought to be made in a mindful, careful way and for slow consumption. Each piece is knitted and sewn in small family workshops in Spain, close to where they live. The garments are made of pure raw materials that are selected carefully from French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian spinning mills.
This Stephanie wool sweater is chic, timeless and effortless. This thick, oversized knit sweater with a round neckline is your ultimate companion on chilly days, wrapping you in the warmth of its ultra-soft weave for years to come. It is made of 100% pure Spanish merino wool. Crafted with care on L'Enver's new gauge 3 knitting machine, it boasts a thick and sumptuous stitch that's as luxurious as it is comfortable.
We recommend going up in size if you prefer your sweater a little looser. For reference, I, Andreea, can fit a size Small but I've opted for a Medium to get that little extra that I very much enjoy. You may also come by the shop to try mine (in beige) if you would like.
You may expect your wool garment to last you a very long time, but the way you care for your clothes can add to their longevity and to their je-ne-sais-quoi that makes them even more charming with time. L'Envers offer a plethora of advice on how to care for your garments. The size guide is included as an image at the end of the photo carousel.
For reference, the girls pictured are on average 1.70cm tall and wear size S.
