Founded in 2019, Gustaf & Linnea is a small family-run business in Gotland, Sweden, led by Gustaf Persson and Linnea Kindvall. They're dedicated to creating sustainable beekeeping products that benefit people, animals, and the environment. Gustaf & Linnea offers natural skincare made from Gotland-produced beeswax, packaged in recyclable cardboard. Through their #närpoll initiative, they support the pollination of Swedish flora to help sustain a healthy ecosystem.

We've long been looking for beeswax wraps that were cool and made in Europe, too. If you've also been reading the labels, you will recognize the difficulty in that. Finally, we found these and they are both! The "Winterland" is a Moomin wintery design in very pleasant colors and favorite characters. 

These are made from cotton, beeswax, pine resin, and coconut oil. The natural properties of beeswax help preserve food quality. But make sure to rinse always with cold water, since warm water will melt away the beeswax.

We use beeswax coated cotton sheets, wraps like these, to replace all things needing plastic foil used in the kitchen, or to hold bread fresh longer. It fits snugly around dishes and comes as a set of 3 sheets in 3 different sizes: small (21 x 21 cm), medium (28 x 28 cm), and large (35 x 35 cm).
