Alexandra and Florin, the couple behind POEMI, are passionate self-taught ceramic artists who began their clay journey in 2016 in Sibiu, Romania. With no prior experience, they dedicated themselves to mastering the art of pottery. They started with a small kiln that they keep to this day as a reminder of their humble beginnings, and since have designed custom tableware for restaurants around the world while promoting sustainable and durable ceramics for daily use. Inspired by childhood memories and the beauty of everyday life, their POEMI collections tell unique stories of connection around shared meals: "The plaster on the walls of the house, the passing of seasons which puts its mark on all and everything, the table with the three-legged chairs we used to eat at, the wooden tray where the bread was kneaded."

The Honeycomb, inspired by the works of Constantin Brâncuși, is a versatile creation under the Origen collection (you can read more about Brancusi here). It serves both as a refined decorative object and as an elegant vessel for presenting amuse-bouche in fine dining. Each piece, meticulously handcrafted from terrazzo stoneware, carries its own distinct character and a tactile authenticity. I personally envisioned it as an out-of-the-ordinary candle holder from fall to spring, and as a cool sculpture on your table in the summer that sometimes dares to carry some white sage.

OBS: This piece is super heavy!!! Due to the weight, hand washing is recommended to avoid damage to other items in the dishwasher.
