Incausa is a social entrepreneurship, operating as a non-profit distributor for indigenous heritage artisanship, subsidizing logistics and production, developing sustainable retail and wholesale market-placement. Incausa collaborates with artisans, villages and associations of eight different native ethnicities in the Amazon Basin.

The Sampler bundle provides an assortment of Incausa's most popular incenses and makes for an ideal gift as well as a starter bundle. The following are included:

breu: is a resin extracted from the Almacega tree of the Amazon rainforest. Used in healing rituals to ward off dark spirits and invite good energy. Also known for being used in Ayahuasca brewing ceremonies (or the brew for spiritual communion).

chacrona: is a perennial, shrubby flowering plant in the coffee family that naturally grows in the Amazon regions of Peru, Ecuador and Colombia and is traditionally used in indigenous healing. For example, the juice from the leaves is traditionally used by the Machiguenga people of Peru as eyedrops to treat migraines.

jagube: also known as the Banisteriopsis caapi vine, holds a significant place in indigenous traditions as the main ingredient of Ayahuasca. Known as the “vine of the soul,” jagube is said to facilitate communication with the spiritual world and ancestors.

white sage: is one of the most powerful cleansers for people, spaces and objects.

palo santo: means "holy wood" and is known to relieve headaches, asthma, anxiety, depression, and reduce inflammation and stress levels. It’s said to clear negative thoughts and negative energy, and to be considered a powerful supporter of emotional clarity. Palo Santo belongs to the same botanical family as frankincense and myrrh, and is obtained only after the natural death of the tree which must lay on the ground for 3 to 6 years before the wood is harvested.

lokta paper: is a traditionally Nepalese handcrafted paper. It is made of the bark of 2 evergreen (Daphe) shrubs. It is strong and durable and has been historically used for writing government documents and religious scriptures. In modern days, it continues these uses and is also popular for notebooks and art making (e.g., makes a great canvas for painting). So don't throw the lokta paper, but rather get creative with it :) 

You may expect a burn time of about 50 min per stick and 25 minutes for each of the palo santo bricks.

use: matches or a candle to light the incense sticks, then blow out the flame and allow the smoke to disperse inside the space.
