wah white peony loose leaf tea

White Peony is a delicate Chinese white tea made from young leaves and unopened tea buds. The tea gets its name from the way the tea leaves blossom as they are infused in water. The way the leaves unfurl in water mimics the appearance of white peony flowers.

Brew it hot or cold!!! This is a delicate tea, that is mellow like freshly cut grass and rain.

single origin: Oolong | Himachal Pradesh, India | Wah Tea Estate - Wah Tea Estate in the Kangra River Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. The estate is dedicated to preserving biodiversity and maintaining soil health.

hot brew: 3g or one tablespoon of loose tea leaves to 230 ml water at a temperature of 80 degrees C for 2-3 minutes. Makes 10 cups from one canister. You may use a metal tea infuser, a strainer, or a french press. 

cold brew: 12g of loose tea leaves to one liter of tap water (or perhaps a bit less) and leave overnight in the fridge for 8 - 12 hours. You may experiment with times to see what works best for you in terms of flavor intensity.
