Iris Hantverk was born in the 1900s in Stockholm as a small brush manufacturer. Now they are 17 employees and the owners, Sara and Richard, are continuing the tradition. Their core remains the brush binding manufacturing at Sandsborgsvägen, Enskede – where 6 visually impaired crafts-folk from different cultures make brushes according to an old Swedish tradition. They also work with visually impaired craftsmen in Estonia.
The washing-up whisk in cereal root have two windings to make it extra firm. It is perfect for cleaning pots and pans. Put the whisk in boiling water a few minutes before first use and you will get a tough and resilient brush.
