Nevertheless, it remains powerful and one can easily imagine the solace found in candle light in darkened rooms where one must take cover to write, to draw, to eat, to laugh, to cry, to simply exist.

Candles provide light, but they also create beauty. Their superpower is to be constantly reshaping, finding new statuesque forms. That is what we love about them. But we also want them to burn cleanly.
